Bar-B-Qing I will be adding recipes as I try them. Click for larger view
Babyback Ribs (Serves Ten +or -) Mix 1/2 gallon apple juice, one can of beer, one 45 oz bottle of bar-b-q sauce ( I use Masterpiece brand) one cup of brown sugar to a 12X15X4 aluminum foil pan. Mix well and add babyback ribs, about 10 to 12 inches per person. Cover with aluminum foil and crimp tightly around edges of pan. Place pan on grill directly over burner on low heat. Put grill hood down and socialize for two to three hours. The ribs will be done to perfection and ready to serve. Mmmmm, makes my mouth water thinking about them. Potatoes The perfect companion to the babyback ribs. Cut up potatoes into bite size pieces, add onions some chopped green pepper, and whatever spices you like. (Garlic is good) Dot with butter and place on aluminum foil and fold into a long flat sealed package. These only take about an hour to cook, so add them to the grill and cook on indirect heat for an hour, turning once. Chicken I am not crazy about eating dead birds, but I believe the best way to cook them is the whole bird on a rotating spit. They are self-basting and a pan beneath the rotating bird will catch the drippings and can be used to cook the heart, liver, etc. for the dogs.
