AFGE is a democratic organization in which the members of each Local decide what that Local's dues should be.  Local 1658 dues are currently $12.50 per pay period.  Out of this, the monthly per capita tax (currently $17.50) is paid to AFGE National.  The average AFGE member pays between $15 - $20 per pay period for union dues, making Local 1658 dues one of the lowest among AFGE's 1,100 locals.

Federal employees at TACOM-Warren, PEO-GCS, PEO-CS&CSS, TARDEC, Installation Management Agency-Warren, Selfridge Garrison and Selfridge Commissary are eligible for union membership in AFGE Local 1658.  Our local offers various incentives to join, including cash rebates!  Contact your Local 1658 office to find out about current incentive programs.
