We have been raising beagles for about 16 years. We initially started with a hunting beagle named "Boober". She wasn't much to look at, but we loved her. We started showing beagles a few years later, with a dog we purchased from Dick and Lillian Lincoln (Hollypine Beagles), Hollypine's Bright Betsy. After a few years of showing and raising show beagles, we started our own line of beagles, Copper Rose Beagles. Most of our beagles are direct descendents of the Hollypine Beagles.
Our first home-breed champion was Copper Rose Pistol Pack'n Mama. She is responsible for the sweet, easy to live with temperaments that are important to us here at Copper Rose Beagles.
