Dining Room and Hallway to Foyer

This is taken from the corner by the front door.

The original dining room.
Here you can see the front door, the back door and the two windows in the kitchen. Both of the doors were moved and the closest window was replaced by the bay window.

Opposite corner. The corner of the parquet floor is the same corner that you see in the shot two up from here. This is the second layout of this area. We nixed the first one and adjusted for a more open floor and to hide the door you see through the framing at the right.

Here is the new foyer, where the dining room was.

Here is the beautify new front door!

Morning Light on the Wall
Well, the picture doesn't do it justice, but here is a shot of sunlight hitting the wall by the front door. It looks sort of like someone had a crayon and scribbled on the wall with light. And the contrast is not nearly as extreme as the picture shows. The straight bars are felections through some of the beveled glass in the door.
