2006
11 October 2006
- Added rules for composite bows and crossbows to my House Rules page.
8 October 2006
- Re-designed the site using a new layout and
Cascading Style
Sheets
- Deleted the "stories" page. Both Sagas are now linked
from the front page. The old "stories" page contained nothing apart
from two links to the Sagas, and has been elminated to streamline
the site.
- Deleted the original spells page. I moved the spells to the
Net Wizard's Grimoire,
where they will probably get better exposure anyway.
- Gutted the Apocryphae page. This
will get re-built shortly but I want to go over and re-edit the
material.
- Merged the Palatini covenant page into the
saga main page. Again, the main
page was mostly empty and was just a container for links. The new
site design (with navigation bars, etc.) means that every page
should have real content.
- Added the story,
A Sickness
in Venice
- Added some illustrations to the
stories page
2005

Home Page to "Story Archive: Coming
Soon." Who was I kidding? Maybe there will be a story archive here
some day, but let us stop pretending it will be soon.
- Added my first two articles of
apocrypha:
comments on the difference between Magic
and Faerie Realms and thoughts on the
"join or die" policy toward hedge
wizards

Story

Venice. Added a little information - two links and a couple of

few new grogs

I re-designed the entire site. The original Saga of Spiritus Draconis is as dead as disco, but for some reason I decided to edit the old Saga pages and move them to a special archival area. Needless to say, those will not be updated any more.
- I threw away all the old Fourth Edition spells and house rules. The Fifth Edition is weeks away and most of that material is obsolete. Besides, not all of the house rules were as well thought out as they could have been.
- Copied the old Links page to a new location. Although the new Saga is set in Italy, I preserved all the old links pertaining to England and Wales -- at least the links that are still good.
- Removed the link to Britannia in protest. It was bad enough when they started plastering pervasive advertising all over the site, but now (late 2004) they also require paid membership for access to pages that used to be free. Their information was very good, but not so good I'll put up with that kind of treatment.
- A number of good links have gone dead: the onomastikon (again), Academy of Saint Gabriel, etc. They've been pruned.
- Threw out the page on Latin terminology. It was too longwinded and it had only two new terms on it. Maybe some day I'll make a new glossary page, but for now I have bigger fish to fry.
- Deleted all references to the Aegis of Vulcan. That was a bad idea and I don't want to have it online any more for fear someone might try to use it in his own Saga.
