Spiritus Draconis's library is unremarkable because the covenant is still young. Beginning in 1363, the magi began a determined effort to improve the library, both by trading for books and by writing their own.

Details of the texts:

Fundamental Techniques of Dismantling is a basic but comprehensive tutorial on the Art of Perdo by Augustin Colaire of Spiritus Draconis. Since Colaire is not a specialist in Perdo, his emphasis is on practical applications rather than deep theory. Colaire gives particular attention to the role of the Law of Sympathy in destructive magics.
On the Manipulation of Etheric Resonances is the earliest book by the now-reknowned Hermetic scholar, Matthias of House Bonisagus. Matthias wrote this book shortly after his apprenticeship; because he traded aggressively to improve the library of his young covenant of Saxum Codex, copies have circulated widely. Matthias is now embarassed by this naive and simplistic treatment of the Art of Rego, but it seems to be his best-known work.
What My Pater Didn't Tell Me About Herbam (and What I Didn't Tell My Apprentice) is, as its title suggests, an unconventional textbook. Clementis pokes fun at what he sees as widespread deficiencies in the state of education in Herbam, and sprinkles his text with entertaining anecdotes from a 30-year career as an Herbam specialist. The result is an accessible, often humorous text that is especially insightful at overcoming common misconceptions about Herbam.
The Body Primeval is the first book by Eirian Willowwood of Spiritus Draconis. Though lucid and concise, Eirian presents a theory of Corpus magic that borders on heretical: that the human body is comparable to The lowly bodies of animals and plants, since all arise from Nature. This controversial stance has prevented much interest in copies of the book and has done nothing to improve Eirian's reputation as a pagan mystic.
Gifts of Prometheus is an enthusiastic treatment of the varied and beneficial properties of the Art of Ignem. The author remarks on many interesting facets of the Art, including how living bodies generate warmth and how light, part of the Form of Ignem, is essential to the perception of visual images, which fall under the form of Imaginem.
Dominating the Weak of Mind is the first book by Cygnar ap Glyndwr of Spiritus Draconis. As far as Cygnar is concerned, "the weak of mind" includes everyone. He gushes about how much fun it is to use Mentem magic to spy on one's enemies and dominate one's subordinates. The text wanders and lacks much in the way of solid theoretical foundation, but it is full of shortcuts and dirty tricks that really help the student improve his Mentem spells.

Spiritus Draconis began the Saga with 900 levels of spells in its grimoires. Many of these were personally copied by the founding magi into the covenant library; others were acquired through trade. Some new spells were copied into the library after the Saga began; dates for these spells are marked.

The library also includes a few items which are not rated under the rules for covenant Characteristics. These miscellaneous items comprise the special collection.

The Chronicle of Spiritus Draconis is part of the special collection, but it's described on another page.

Maps

The covenant has one map, of dubious origin. This is a map that Catrin captured from a diabolist in Autumn 1220, when she was still a member of Spiritus Draconis. The map shows the locations of several lost treasures in Britain. Considering the former owner of the map, Catrin was not eager to go dig up the treasures, and she donated the map to the covenant. It is still in the library, now almost forgotten.

Lab Texts

The senior magi have donated a few of their lab texts to the library in the hope that they'l be useful to fellow magi who wish to duplicate their work.

The Scrolls of Vulcan

In Summer 1365, an expedition of magi ventured into the mine to confront and kill a fire drake. In the drake's lair, they found the ruins of a Roman shrine to the god Vulcan. The magi retrieved from the shrine five scrolls, each slightly enchanted with charms of preservation.

The first three scrolls consist of paeans and invocations to Vulcan. They are ritual texts the ancient Priests of Vulcan used to create enchanted items. Because the enchantment rituals of House Verditius are descended from those of the Cult of Vulcan, the scrolls seem similar in some ways to Hermetic magic. They have been glossed by Rydderch and are now usable as a tractatus on Magic Theory. (The gloss is in a separate volume, instead of written in the margins.) The scrolls are also of potential historical value to House Verditius.
The fourth scroll describes a Vulcanian ritual for enchanting a magic shield; it is usable as a lab text
The fifth scroll is a report from a priest of Vulcan expressing concern about the threat to the Roman presence in Britain posed by the Druids.

Aristotle

When Davydd ap Davydd arrived at the covenant in Autumn 1365, he brought with him an Arabic text he had acquired while on Crusade in the Holy Land. Using the covenant's magical amulets of translation, Davydd was able, eventually, to decipher and translate the text. It proved to be nothing less than a copy of Aristotle's Rhetoric. The Latin translation is a permanent part of the covenant's collection, and the Arabic original is the personal property of Davydd, who stores it in the covenant library for safekeeping.
