The magi killed the diabolist and his five zombies before the threat grew too great. o Eirian brewed a longevity potion for Taurus. o Haterius of Blackthorn adbucted the grog Dogfael. He held Dogfael hostage until Rydderch and several grogs retreived a magic chest for him; this quest required bargaining with a water serpent. Summer o Melody the Redcap went missing. Grogs of Spiritus Draconis rescued her from the giants who had abducted her. o A strange, faerie musician visited Elusdan's court. He bewitched the court with enchanted music until Rydderch confronted him. Autumn o Catrin joined covenant. o Catrin saved Bran the hedge wizard from an angry mob by curing a plague outbreak they accused him of causing. o Catrin and her grogs met a diabolist in the mountains and were attacked as they sheltered in his house; they recovered his treasure map and added it to the covenant library. Winter o Rydderch, Catrin, and Colaire fought a golem-maker and his creations. The golem-maker turned out to be a Hermetic diabolist, Cyrnweg the Black of House Bjornaer. Colaire summarily executed Cyrnweg. o Catrin and Rydderch went into the mine. Catrin laid to rest some dangerous ghosts. The magi met the dwarfs but were unable to negotiate with them. 1221 Spring o Morydic of Blackthorn trespassed on Spiritus Draconis and stole its vis. He was twice defeated in certamen by magi of Spiritus Draconis. Rydderch took from Morydic the magical Cloak of Living Thorns. o Catrin and Rydderch found a hollow faerie mound that contained a mist-shrouded gateway, guarded by two trolls. Summer Autumn o Tribunal. Colaire accused of murdering diabolist Cyrnweg the Black; charges dropped due to Cyrnweg's proven diabolism. Spiritus Draconis fined 10 pawns of vis for stealing Morydic's Cloak of Thorns and 3 pounds of silver for killing 3 grogs; Cygnar trades lots of vis to diversify the covenant's stocks Winter 1222 Spring o Colaire scribed spells into the covenant library. There they killed a poisonous wyrm that had been threatening that covenant. Gryffyd the Smith was gravely wounded in the battle. o Rydderch foiled a plot by the faerie Duchess of Snowflakes to usurp the throne of Winter. The Duchess's mortal minion, Sir Roland Fitz Walter, had kidnapped the faerie herald of Spring, Jack-in-Green, thereby postponing Spring indefinitely. Rydderch and his men rescued Jack-in-Green, but the Duchess and Roland Fitz Walter escaped to Arcadia. The grog Kenyr was killed, and Rydderch gravely wounded, by the Duchess' enchanted white snow-wolves. o Catrin, Dogfael, and Owain lifted a faerie curse from the prize stallion owned by horse-breeder Morvan ap Tewdric. The covenant received a gift of two brood mares as a reward. Summer o the grogs of Blackthorn delivered a gratuitous insult to the grogs of Spiritus Draconis. The turb of Spiritus Draconis responded by challenging Blackthorn's grogs to a tournament. Magi on both sides got involved and the tournament was finally scheduled for Autumn, 1224. Autumn o Rhiannon joined covenant Winter 1224 Spring Summer Autumn o Rydderch and Gwenever went to Gwen's father's house to help lift a curse on his cattle herd. They traced the curse to an Infernal well and battled the diabolists who were using it for evil. Taurus was killed in the battle and both Gwen and Rydderch barely survived. o Following the death of Taurus, o Tournament with Blackthorn o Rhiannon laid to rest a ghost that was haunting Rhuddlan Castle Winter 1225 Spring o All of the senior magi agreed that they should write a book to improve the covenant library, if they had not already done so. Autumn Winter o Colaire's longevity potion failed and he was forced to borrow vis from the Treasury to create a new one. 1226 Spring o Fluvant de la Caverne joined the covenant. o The magi unanimously ratified Amendment I to the covenant charter, regarding the distribution of vis. o The four junior magi explored the mine and met the dwarfs there. They struck a bargain with the dwarfs, agreeing to get rid of a fire drake in exchange for the dwarfs relinquishing the mine and doing the covenant a favor. o Eirian brewed batch of seven vis-boosted potions of "Chirurgeon's Healing Touch" o The junior magi spent the season in preparation to fight the fire drake.
