History

The Aviation High School Science Olympiad team was started in 2005 as an elective class of 31 AHS freshmen and sophomores. Now it includes all four classes at AHS and is ready to send three teams out into the science tournament world.

In the last two years we have gone to state twice (last year with two teams) and our best has been 14th out of a field of the 22 best teams in the state.

Additionally, we participate in the Science Decathlon competition. Last year, our Golden Pegacorns got 1st at Nationals.

This year the class is available again and our three teams vow to be ruthless nerds, WATCH OUT!
