I"ve been an active mobile operator since the early 70's when I ran an FT-101B from my 1971 Ford LTD with a Swan multiband mobile antenna.
Over the years I've run several different mobile setups covering 80 through 440 mhz. I've worked (but not confirmed) 168 countries while mobile.
I am currently active from my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee using a Yaesu FT100 and homebrew helical verticals for 20, 17, 15, 12, 10, and 6 meters and Lakeview vertical antennas for 40 and 80 meters.
