Bodhran Lessons at the
Aisling Gallery
The Bodhran is one of the oldest
percussion instruments in the world and is known as the heart beat of
the Irish Traditional Music
Classes begin Friday,
September 16th.
The lessons run for 8 weeks with a music session and get together on
the
9th week with some very talented musicians.
Cost of the course is $140 and $120 for returning students.
During the course we will be joined by musicians who will perform with

Teacher Martin Butler from County Tipperary, Ireland
Is a member of traditional Irish group Rud Eife
Has recorded on a number of Cd's, represented the United States in the
world championships of Irish Music. Toured with Irish Tenor Ronan Tynan
and has performed with the Chieftains and Finbar Furey.
