A Shepherd's Farm on the Irish Coast

Over a twelve-year period Sullivan did over thirty on-site paintings here on Pat and Mary Murpy's beautiful land. This painting is the culmination of these efforts. The rugged landscape that juts into the cold Atlantic is a glorious sight. The sheep who call it home are prevented from roaming off by the ageless stone fences you can see in the lower left corner and lacing the fields. This breathtaking view is one of the artist's favorites.
