Failure
Ed Foreman
Failure is a CHOICE made by the undisciplined. Failing to meet your objectives, regardless of what they are, is a choice, because something else has been given higher priority. If you fail, it is because you choose to fail.
I am Powerful
Author Unknown
I am very powerful!
Whatever I set my mind on having, I will have.
Whatever I decide to be, I will be.
The evidence is all around me.
The power of my will has brought me precisely to where I am right now.
I have made the choices. I have held the thoughts.
I have taken the actions to create my current reality.
And I have the power to change it into whatever I want it to be.
With the choices I make, I am constantly fulfilling the vision I have for my life.
If that does not seem to be the case,
Then I am deceiving myself about what I really want.
Because what I really, truly want, I will get!
What I truly wanted in the past, I already have.
If I want to build a billion-dollar business, I will take the actions necessary to do it.
If I want to sit comfortably watching TV night after night,
I will take the actions necessary for that.
Don't be disappointed in my results.
They're just the outward manifestation of my priorities.
I will be sure of what I truly want,
Because I am sure to get it!
I choose to be of service joyfully.

Service is the inherent nature of your being. See each day as a God-given opportunity for service. Recognize that you are not really serving any one individual but the manifestation of God in them. You may not feel very comfortable with their personality. You may not like the physical role they are playing. Be aware that you aren't serving them but the God in them.
A joyful person transmutes negative energies and is a living demonstration of true union with the Source of All Life. You are simply one aspect of Spirit serving another aspect of Spirit. You are all part of the same Body of Spirit and so you are serving yourself.
Recognize that when you serve another, you uplift not just yourself and the person being served, but the whole Human Race, the whole planet.
Inspiring Serenity
©2005-7 Steve Brunkhorst
The man in the moon climbed above the eastern horizon and smiled brightly from the cool indigo-blue sky of early evening. His soft beams illuminated an array of polished granite boulders scattered across a far-reaching mountain meadow.
Pin points of light began to dot the horizon, and a city gradually appeared on the earth's floor thousands of feet below. I positioned my camera, tracked the moon's ascent for several minutes, and captured the scene to take home.
After returning to my vehicle, I realized how inspiring this experience had been; it had brought a deep calmness and serenity. The moon had illuminated the evening landscape temporarily and had given me an indelible spiritual gift.
The word inspiration reminds me of this calm serenity. When we hold awareness in spirit, positive changes take place that also effect us mentally and physically. Inspiration allows us to find a deep, calm center where serenity is plentiful.
Ask yourself: "What inspires me and brings me feelings of calmness, strength, and serenity when I need them the most?"
An archaic definition of the word inspire is "to breathe life into." When you need serenity, look to those things that inspire you—places and activities that enliven your spirit. Our Creator has placed deeply within us a serenity and strength that we can access.
May you enjoy the calmness and serenity of all the brightest inspirations in your life!
