The Massachusetts High School Drama Festival is the largest event of the year for the Ferrini Dramatics center and Theater Workshop. This festival is made of over 100 participating schools, each with their own One Act play.

The Massachusetts Drama Festival is composed of three levels:

Preliminary Round:

On March 4th 2006, the Ferrini Dramatic Center will be one of the schools hosting the first set of One plays. 9:00am - 7:00pm. Walk- ins encouraged. 10$.

Semi-Finals:

On March 17th the schools who are judged the best perform again, at a to-be announced location.

States:

From March 29th to March 31st the best High School One Acts in Massachusetts will be performed at John Hancock Hall in Boston.

From the Massachussetts state finals, two plays are chosen to represent Massachussetts, next to plays from each of the other states in New England.
