        Highly-skilled network/desktop/systems technician with an attitude towards 100 percent success rate in any given scenario. Linux promotion.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE

        Uncanny ability and track record in diagnosing and rectifying any hardware/software/system problems in Linux/DOS/Win95/98/ME/NT/2000 Ability to function extremely well as a troubleshooter in many systems including Sun, Mac OS, SCO Unix, and also as a code troubleshooter in Java, Visual Basic, C++, HTML, and Assembly. All areas of Web Design.  Most areas of network design, implementation, physical wiring and security.  Moderate-to-high level hacker skills on Linux/Windows/Unix internet scenarios, usually in an exploit or brute force capacity but expertise can be assumed in a variety of other modes including social skills.

Owner(Sole Proprietor) -- J-Tec Computers [Aug 95 to Present]

Sole contractor for AOL/MovieFone since 2/99 in the Eastern Massachusetts region. Responsible for all Y2K upgrade implementations on all SCO Unix servers. Responsibilities include on-call availability for fast response to any system failures in 100+ locations.

Emergency Consultant for the Town of Dedham. Dedham is a town of 20,000+ households and is not exactly the on the cutting edge of technology. I am the guy they call when things go bad due to poor contract work or planning. I get called a lot. I get paid a lot.

Storefront Owner. From janitor to Senior engineer. Sole employee for myself with a database of 2500+ regular customers and also uncounted masses who have experienced the J-Tec magic. Opened 11/1/98. Responsibilities include all of the above applied but with added board-level repairs and extension to a wide variety of consumer electronic/computer issues. I did not ever sell computers. I will never sell computers. I just repair and service.

       

Technical Assembler -- Chiron Diagnostics, previously Ciba Corning, currently Bayer AGFA

Series 800 Blood/Gas Analyzer Assembler.Series 800 Blood/Gas Analyzer Assembler. As seen in the movie "GATTACA" The 800 series analyzer was assembled primarily by  myself for over 75 percent of it's U.S.A. production run. ISO 9001 certification and a multitude of OSHA certifications were obtained by me in the course of this production.

Reagents Technician. Responsible for a variety of laboratory tests and machine calibrations in the raw manufacturing of numerous chemical reagents involved in the biomedical field.

Emergency Computer Consultant. For several major departments, I was the guy to consult with any and all computer problems as MIS was usually unavailable. Even if they were available, I was the only employee who spoke their language. I did not get paid for this.

Quality Assurance. I spent considerable time working for QA using a wide variety of modern and traditional inpectional tools.

International Training Liason. In reality I just trained a British crew to do my job thus hanging myself jobwise. I am now fluent in British slang though (They were from Sussex).

 

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS INCLUDE

A whole bunch of study courses that I swiped off the internet. I will actually take the cert tests upon request if needed.

Don Bosco Technical - Electric Theory, Electric Shop.

Northeastern University - Real Estate Certificate course. Also credits earned toward BA in Business mgmt.

Barbizon School of Modeling - I gained too much weight to use my skills but I am refined :)

Boston Bartending School - I actually never saw the Movie 'Cocktail' but just had to take the course.

Lee Real Estate School - 24 hours of school in 2 days.. I wish all schools were like this. As an added bonus, I sat next to Dale Bozio from 'Missing Persons'.. she borrowed my calculator. Cool.

Certified PADI Scuba diver - New England dive enthusiast.

Restorer and owner of many classic arcade games including a real boss TRON machine.
