Alameda Naval Air Station Golf Club began around 1982 from a group of
fanatic golfers that worked at the Alameda Naval Air Base. Membership
began small but began to increase when word was out that a club has
formed. Chuck Corica Golf course was a favorite
location many of the club members play. Since the closure of the base,
many of the members have moved on elsewhere, but a few has stayed with
the golf club and since then many non-NAS personnel has joined this club.
Our club welcomes all that are not necessarily in the military,
retired, etc. The golf club holds tournaments every month on Saturdays at
various Northern California courses. All tournaments have a long drive
contest (men, women and seniors) and all Par 3's are closes to the pin
with cash prizes. A Two Day Club Championship tournament is held every
year and scheduled in the fall to determine the Club Champion of the
year. If interested in joining a fun group of people and for the love of
the game, please click here
