Short BiographyJosh Hansen was born in July 1997 in American Fork. Josh's first year of life was a little rough. He had open-heart surgery when he was 8 months old to move and reimplant an artery that was pressing on his trachea; making it difficult for him to breathe. He has always been a happy child, wanting to take in as much as life has to offer. He is completely healthy now. Josh is an active 12 year-old with a big interest in history and science. If he is watching television, it is most likely a historical or science-related program. His favorite historical interest is World War II. He loves to travel to places with historical significance. (Of course he is willing to go on any kind of vacation!) Josh has hiked to from the top to the bottom and back again of the Grand Canyon (20 miles total), as well as other significant hikes in Zions, Canyonlands, Bryce Canyon, Arches, and Hawaii. He especially likes it when he reaches the finish first! He also enjoys golfing, skiing, running, swimming, and of course, playing video games. Josh is active in the LDS church and hopes to serve a mission when he is 19-years-old. |
