Stan (click here for his personal pages) is semi-retired from Lockheed Martin Space Company (Missiles and Space, Sunnyvale). He enjoys using the computer, reading science fiction, and listening to classical music. A failed mitral valve and immediate open heart surgery on 9 November 2007 to replace the valve put him on medical leave until February 2008, at which time he entered formal retirement 31 January. Recuperating at home curtailed his bicycling for a while, but he's back on the bike now. There's lots more info on my Google Profile http://www.google.com/profiles/114922694409739524842.

Kiyomi works as an author of e-learning articles, as a U.S.-Japan Liaison, consultant, mentor, U.S.-Japan Training, facilitator, home-maker and -remodeler, mother, wife, interior decorator, gardener, etc. She is kept busy writing articles for magazines and newspapers, coordinating and facilitating technology exchanges between Japanese and US companies and educational institutions through her CrossTech business. You're welcome to visit her web site to see what she's up to (although she doesn't update it very often), or better yet, .

Aya graduated from Santa Clara University in 2001 (some pictures are here) with a degree in Finance and a minor in Japanese. She had previously graduated from Foothill College June 1999, was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa (the Junior College equivalent of Phi Beta Kappa), and entered Santa Clara University as a business major in Fall 1999. She worked at Joan and David (Stanford Shopping Center) until they went out of business in January 2001. She worked at NOLA Restaurant, a cajun-style Palo Alto restaurant. She started as an Intern at Northwestern Mutual ("the quiet company") in Menlo Park, but didn't like the job (cold calls selling insurance), so she quit. She spent 5 weeks touring Europe (Aya's adventures and pictures link) the summer of 2001, and worked a 3-month contract at Futuredex before settling down to a job at Applied Materials in 2002. After a year, she decided it was time for a change, and became our "Gap kid".
Aya was promoted to the International Business Development, Banana Republic Japan - Non-Apparel group. She went to Japan for a six-month assignment (August 2006-February 2007) .
When her assignment was over, she examined her options and decided to join Sephora. Aya has a Skype identity, ayahutchings; or better yet, .
She and Matt Andrews have started their own website, it's supposed to be a work in progress, and they say they will keep it current with their most recent adventures, gastronomical and otherwise - The Unbelievable Pages - ayahutchings.googlepages.com/theunbelievablepages2, "Dedicated to recording the events of the lives of Aya, Matt and our friends. Pictures, upcoming events, softball scores, restaurant reviews, etc. You can also see my adventures in Japan. Enjoy! and let me know if any of the links aren't working...rather than send out email updates, if you're bored and have a couple minutes, visit the site!!!"

Alan graduated from high school in 1998. See some pictures and Alan's Senior Farewell is still available to be read. He entered UC Santa Barbara in Fall 1998, and moved into the Francisco Torres dormitory. He had an exciting Hallowe'en, his costume (Photos still available here!) was based on the Chippendale performers (no, not the Disney chipmunks, Chip 'n Dale). He took an academic leave and returned to Palo Alto at the end of the Winter Quarter. He started training in Olympic-style Tae Kwon Do. Tae Kwon Do has had a major influence on his life, read his personal statement. He got his black belt, and in 2003 earned his Second Degree Black Belt, plus a chevron, and in 2007 earned his Third Degree Black Belt. He is now directing his full attention to his own company, Reference Audio, now AHInstall (Alan Hutchings Installation)., which also has a photo album of projects done at AHInstall.com. The company specializes in Home Theater video and sound system consultation and installation. Now that he's bonded, insured and has a Contractor's License, he's legit, and has been getting much more work. .
