Some of Alan's Baby Pictures

Here is a picture of baby Alan taken in 1981 at his first birthday party, after he got immersed in his chocolate cake. Did he enjoy it? I think there is no doubt! Everyone else enjoyed it, too, especially Dad, who loves chocolate. Even Mom enjoyed it, until it was time to clean up the mess. However, Daisy dog was a willing volunteer to clean Alan's face and any dishes or utensils that needed it.

All cleaned up! After a nice bath, Alan visits the Quack Quack. It's a little hard to see, but his toilet seat had a duck head, and he called it the Quack Quack, since that's the sound a duck makes. He was a chubby, happy baby. He was usually smiling or laughing, and generally in a good humor.

Here's Alan all cleaned up, and finished with his visit to the Quack Quack. Now he's out looking for some mischief, or failing that, something to eat.

Here's Alan with his good buddy, our dog Daisy. Alan and Daisy had a lot of adventures together, Daisy was three when Alan was born, so she was like an older sister, but not as mean as his other older sister, Aya. When Alan was a baby, Daisy kept clear of Alan, but as he got older, she got to like him, especially after he had eaten and needed his face and hands cleaned.
