The 37th Tenn. Co. H is a non-profit Civil War reenactment/living history unit. The  members strive to accurately portray a western Confederate "mid-to-late war" Army Of Tennessee infantry company. Our officers and NCO's are democratically elected once a year, just as was done during the war. We participate in the unit to experience and educate ourselves about our past and  heritage, and while we take our history seriously, we don’t take ourselves very seriously.

Living history is educational, both to ourselves and to the public. Most importantly, however, it should be fun. Our membership spans from Memphis to Atlanta, but we are based mostly out of the Chattanooga/North Georgia area. All uniforms and equipment are personal possessions of individual members of the company. (Although we do loan uniforms and equipment to new members).
