First Flight
On June 23, 2007 at the Ash Creek Field we prepared the Mitchell B-25 for its first flight. After synching the engines & changing out a fuel line, the twin Saitos 72s were fired up. |     |
With Pilot Mike at the controls the B-25 taxied out of the pit area to the runway. With just a light breeze, flying conditions were near perfect. |     |
With a taxi down the runway and one turn the B-25 made its dash for its first flight. It went airborne and headed out over the treetops. L I F T O F F ! |        |
