Weather Pledge
I pledge to be prepared for any type of weather:
Alki beach is known for being a windy spot and vendors that have shown in the past are prepared for these conditions.
Respect the vendors that are prepared and be prepared yourself.
Things you can do to be better prepared for the Alki fair:
o If you have a tent, have tie downs.
· Sand bags, bricks, gallon jugs filled with water or sand, just about anything works, just weigh it down!
o Build your display so it allows wind to pass through it, not blow it over.
In years past we have also experienced rain from time to time, vendors that are prepared make their best sales during this time.
If you are unprepared for rain and decide to close your booth before the end of the fair, you may not drive your vehicle down to your booth. If you have to pack up early you will need to walk your work to the street for pick up. Please abide by these rules and respect those vendors that are still selling work and have come prepared.
