Troop 1978 is made up of 4th-6th Graders from various schools in the Vancouver School District in Clark County, Washington. We are in the Fort Vancouver Neighborhood of Girl Scouts--Columbia River Council, Inc.

Calendar and event information is distributed directly to parents at meetings and via email.

Beginning January 2007, we will be meeting on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of every month. When there is a 5th Thursday, we'll have badge workshops and we'll invite other troops to join us.

We are an active troop with a wide array of interests, but most of the girls agree that Cheetahs are the best of the big cats. Although our leader prefers Mountain Lions.
