  1. Assumed.
    Since Ole's surname was Anderson in America, it can be assumed his father's first name was Anders. His name was evidently unknown to his granddaughter Anna Anderson Warden, since she did not provide it for her father's death certificate. From this I would assume that he never immigrated and died in Norway long before Anna was born.
  2. Death certificate.
    When Ole's daughter Anna gave the information for his death certificate, she indicated Ole's mother was named Mary Larson, however Ole's mother's name was given as Elsa in the 1880 census, and her Larson is a male patronym, so possibly her name was Elsa Mary Larsdatter.
