Okay, let me tell you something. This band is freaking good. I love their record, Ribbons of War. It is not just a record either, its a freaking book. I met their singer/songwriter, Jay Purdy, an immensely nice guy. But that is besides the point.
This record needs to be purchased. If you hear music right now, its probably their record, because I have included a couple of their songs to play in the background right now. If these guys are coming to where you live, go see them.
I have never loved a record so quickly. I want to write more about it, but its just going to come off as the same thing over and over again, so I'm just going to say this:
I am awarding the first ever Alpharocker Recommends to Jay Purdy, and his "Extraordinaires", and their excellent record, Ribbons of War.
