This Christine's birth.

The classic look of the 1957. This Plymouth started out as a Fury. After a once proud life, it developed cancer and most of the body was removed. However, she still had a strong heart and bone structure, so the frame was left intact and restored, the original FP 318 was slightly detuned, the doors and fenders replaced and her rebirth began.

Unfortunately for the purist, many of the much sought after parts for the Fury were sold to another collector, including the sport-tone inserts, hubcaps, gold grill, air cleaners and 150 speedo. It appears she had no need for them in her new life.

Doors and fenders were replaced, rust issues were repaired, including floor patches etc., new red upholstery was installed and she got a decent facelift with the red and white paint job.

New dual antennaes were installed and correctly wired, 1958 hubcaps were placed on her Sears whitewall tires, brakes redone, and she was ready to roll again.

Even though she could use a little work on the rear bumper she is a dream to drive. However, feeling incomplete, 1958 grills, bezels, headlights, lower rear bumper, trunk, tail lights and "V" emblem were purchased so she could be made whole. Everyday she gets a little bit closer to this goal.
