YOU CAN TRI!! The annual FCC Kids Tri exposed more than 1,000 kids to the awesome sport of triathlon and has donated more than $20,000 to the Cardiac Kids' Chapter of Childrens' Hospital!! Thank you all for your continued support.

Event capped at 350 participants. Sign up early!.

The course will not change from the 2008 edition.

STILL MORE room for the younger age group transition.

Late REGISTRATION ENDS WEDNESDAY AUG 5 @ closing of Fort Collins Club

Important #1: Absolutely NO swimming aids will be permitted. PLEASE practice with your child and make sure they can actually swim!
Important #2: Absolutely NO parents will be permitted on the pool deck.
Important #3: Parents are only allowed in the transition area for the 4-6 age group.

Transition opens 7 am
Prerace meeting for older age groups at 7:45 am
First wave will go off at 8:00 am.
Prerace meeting for younger age groups at 9:15 am
Last wave in the water by 10:55 am.

General Information

Who?
Anyone 4-12 yrs old who can be reasonably expected to safely negotiate the distances.

Why?
For FUN! Give it a TRI!
This is an untimed (self-timed?) event.
Emphasis is on fun, participation, & giving your best effort, not competition.

How much?
Before July 29, 2009:
$30 1st kid per family,
$25 each additional kid.
(We remain the cheapest triathlon in Colorado)

Procrastinators (after July 29, but before Aug 5) add $5 per participant.

Registration closes Aug 5. No exceptions. Not even our friends. We can't make the waves work or order the schwag properly otherwise.

We encourage each racer-family to provide one race volunteer. You'll get to watch the race.
