                            Welcome to PC-Engine Hell. This site is dedicated to one of the greatest consoles
                            ever created and highly overlooked outside of Japan. The Pc-Engine console was
                            developed by Hudson and NEC and released in Japan in 1987.

                            It was then released in the USA in late 1989 as the TurboGrafx-16 system
                            in time to battle with the Sega Genesis system. The system was redesigned
                            with a new larger black colored housing. Also the pin inputs on the Hu-Card slot
                            were reversed to prevent Japanese released Hu-Cards from being played on it.

                           During the systems life span there was many different models released from the
                           white Pc-Engine to the Supergrafx on down to the TurboExpress portable game
                           system. The Pc-Engine was the first game system to support and boast cd-rom
                           drive technology via upgrades. With or without the cd-rom drive the system was
                           very powerful for its time, and would see many arcade ports done before its death,
                           along with hundreds of original titles and ports of computer titles including the
                           most popular RPGS.

                         While the system lived a painful life in the USA under poor quality marketing until
                         the TTI days, in Japan it was a near unstoppable monster of a gaming system with
                         some of the most popular games released. It was the system to have and was able to
                         last well past the normal 5 years that most game companies saw as the life term a
                         system should be supported before a new product is introduced and takes over.

                   About this site. Its alot of fun. Coming here is like a bit of xmas, but with hookers and alot of
                   hurt feelings. Over time other fun things will be added. Consider the site under construction on
                   a long term basis. Updates will be added often. Be very aware of this however. This site is not
                   for your children. The majority of Pce-TG16 collectors are comprised of adults, thus this site is
                   made for adults, with no children in mind. If you are under the age of 18, I suggest you go
                   elsewhere. If you are a disgruntled parent despising the language used here, well, fuck off, this
                   place isn't for you. There are plenty of wholesome sites out there you can visit instead. Go to
                   them, and leave here teh ASAP. You have been dully warned, amarite???!!! Pc Engine yay!!!
