Pastor Slautterback

Dave Slautterback and Kay Tarman were both born in York, Pennsylvania. and graduated from William Penn Senior High School. After graduation, Dave went into the military. Thanks to mutual friends, Dave and Kay continued to communicate with each other while Dave was in the U.S Army. After Dave returned from Germany in 1967, he and Kay married. They have four daughters, Dana, Krista, Anna, and Julia.

Shortly after the birth of their first two daughters, they joined the neighborhood Methodist church and attended on a not too regular basis. After reading through the Bible, Dave was saved in the Spring of 1973 and Kay about a year later.

Dave graduated from Lancaster Bible College, Lancaster Pennsylvania. In the early 1980's Dave pastored the Conewago Community Chapel (now Ambassadors Bible Chapel) located outside of York Haven, Pennsylvania. Dave spent some years in industry, then spent nine years in Quarryville, Pennsylvania while Dave pastored Solanco Bible Church. Since 1999, Dave worked full time and pastored the Emmanuel Baptist Church. By the Lord's grace, Kay has been a stay-at-home Mom for most of their married life. David and Kay are blessed with four son-in-laws and six grandchildren. In March 2007 Dave began as pastor of Ambassadors Bible Church, York Haven, Pennsylvania.

About our Assistant Pastor

Asst. Pastor Nathan Stein joined Ambassadors Bible Chapel in August 2008. He is a Graduate of Lancaster Bible College and has a bachelors of science degree in Bible and a major in pastoral ministries. Nathan graduated from high school at Watsontown Christian Academy. His parents stated that Nathan was saved at the age of 5 years. We are fortunate to have Nathan as an assistant pastor of our church.

Nathan is developing a new youth program, which will benefit our young people. We are excited about this new program and are looking forward to implementing it.
