Studio A is Avast Recording's large scale tracking and mixing room. The studio is equipped with a 48 channel Neve 8248 console with Necam 96 moving fader automation, a Studer A827 2"-24 track recorder, and Digidesign’s Pro Tools HD2. The room also features an extensive array of vintage and modern outboard mic preamps and processors. Studio A has one of the largest tracking rooms in the Northwest. It measures 36'x34'x17'h which can easily accommodate a 30 piece symphonic recording session. The room can be set up to track a band‘live’ while providing isolation for solo instruments and vocalists. The large room allows for an exceptional sounding ambience for recording drums, strings, brass, and choirs. This room is a favorite of local and national recording artists as well as college choir groups and symphony contractors.
