History

The Genesee Audubon Society, founded in 1977 is a subchapter of the Michigan Audubon Society (MAS), and MAS is a chapter of National Audubon Society. Membership is separate from and in addition to membership in either National Audubon Society or Michigan Audubon Society

Mission Statement

Genesee Audubon was organized to reach people of all levels of interest by offering a variety of workshops, field trips, and monthly presentations. We strive to enhance public awareness of the natural world through promoting environmental education and scientific research of our natural resources and the environment.
