Selected Accomplishments

§         Managed global business to business partner integration and supply chain management initiative for Concert Communications, a global venture from AT&T and BT and deployed in Atlanta in USA and Bletchley in UK. Effectively utilized my coordination skills to manage a team of engineers from BT, AT&T and Concert to successfully document the Global business requirements for the business to business integration and manage people to deliver a design, deployment plan for a global deployment of the service. Based on global venture of Concert Communications, the project management was managed with matrix configuration.  I used confrontation which is considered most effective – problem solving technique to bring in consensus within project team. 

§         Led Enterprise Communication Strategy for Avaya Chief Technical Officer Team.  Evaluated a number of companies in Wireless LAN, Security, Storage Area Network and other data networking technologies for possible acquisition.   Conducted a comparative study of their product portfolio and did due-diligence to arrive at top 3 companies.

o        Evaluated and documented current hardware and software processes, technologies and working practices of the businesses

o        Developed the Transition Plan that would be used post acquisition to integrated processes, systems and infrastructures of combined company.

o        Documented the listing of stake holders in the company internal and external to the company

§         Managed all aspects of planning, designing and implementing call centers solutions (including IVR, ACD, and CTI) for a variety of clients in diverse industries. Effectively utilized technical skills to develop proposals, conducting due-diligence, understanding current business processes and future business requirements, evaluating technology solutions for call center (Avaya, CISCO etc) and working with all the stakeholders to deliver these solutions on time and on budget.

§         Managed transitioning and conversion team from Information Technology employees, Product Management employees, sub-contractor technicians, financial and billing employees to convert Global Crossing Frame Relay circuits to AT&T Frame Relay circuits.  Received compliments from AT&T for completing the project within the budget and on time.

o        Took control of the project early to avoid risks and modified policies and contracts between parties to make sure communication between technicians, customer and Product Managers all have single point of contact – Project Manager.

o        Instituted new budget control policy early on in the project to track subcontractor technician’s progress of conversion of circuits and satisfying the subcontractor’s contractual obligations.

o        Used confrontation which is considered most effective – problem for solving technique to bring in consensus in project team. I closely kept in technical advances of the project to facilitate both parties work together toward a solution of the problem.
