ABSTRACT

Recently, the U.S. Department of Defense announced plans to convert its network to the next-generation Internet protocol, Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6). The timetable is aggressive and the DOD plans to quickly identify a set of near-term implementations, pilots, demonstrations and test beds, and develop an IPv6 transition plan.  Systems/capabilities developed or acquired after October 2003 must be Ipv6 capable.  Segments of the GIG are to transition to Ipv6 between FY05 and FY07.You are invited to join us for an intensive one-day course on the next generation Internet Protocol – IPv6
