Welcome to the official website for the annual Fiber Festival at Cannonsburgh Harvest Days in Murfreesboro TN.
Historic Cannonsburgh Village is located at 312 S. Front Street in Murfreesboro TN.
We hope you join us this year for the 12th annual festival on October 25th 2008.
The Festival and Harvest Days are FREE and open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday. The Fiber Festival has a wide variety of fiber and fiber related vendors.
For Visitors: The Fiber Festival features friendly neighborhood fiber animals such as sheep of several breeds, alpacas, angora and jersey wooly rabbits, and sometimes angora goats (which actually produce mohair fiber). Also at the Festival are the friendly and knowledgeable people who raise and care for these animals, and the beautiful products made from their fiber. If you are interested in spinning, knitting, weaving, felting, or just looking and feeling, please come by. Several vendors carry many hard-to-find tools and supplies, and there is always a good variety of fibers and yarns.
For Vendors: Please contact me if you need additional information or if you would like to participate as a vendor this year. This is a non-juried festival with no booth fees. However, we do require that your booth consist of fiber and fiber-livestock related products.
