How to purchase a puppy from Anastasia Siberians

I require that every puppy be placed in the best possible situation, so I typically develop a close relationship with every new owner. Puppies are reserved by a non-refundable payment which guarantees you the puppy of your choice once your turn to pick has arrived. Anastasia Siberians always reserves the right to first choice from every litter for our own purposes, and all other puppies are made available to people on our waiting list. Pet (not for breeding or show) puppies are sold for $1200.00, regardless of color or sex.  We offer a two hundred dollar discount for puppies that are paid in full at time of booking.  Buyers have the option of either making a deposit of  $600.00 and owing another $600.00 at time of pickup, or alternatively paying in full and making one payment in the amount of $1000.00.  Show or breeding puppies are sold by special arrangement only, and are twice the price of pet puppies ($2400.00).  In addition to the purchase price, buyers are also charged for microchipping, which is $40.00.  Domestic shipping outside of California is done at the flat rate of $325.00, International shipping rates are by request only. We accept payment for puppies through deposit with Wells Fargo, Chase or Bank of America. We accept checks, money orders and of course cash as well. Although we can use Paypal for certain situations, it is not the preferred method of payment. All payments made toward the purchase of a puppy are final and nonrefundable, with the exception being prepaid shipping expenses for a puppy that is not shipped.

We have on occasion been asked why our puppies cost more than others found elsewhere on the internet. The answer to this question is simply the quality of the dog. Our puppies are each a perfect representation of what a Siberian Husky should be. This breeding program has been tested and proven for over fifteen years. We produce puppies that look like a Siberian Husky, and continue to look true to type when they are adults. There are many so-called 'breeders' available. Anyone with two dogs that mate is a 'breeder'. The difference with us is the integrity of our pedigrees, the outstanding reputation for health, and the overall pleasant temperaments of our dogs. We strive to produce perfection in every litter that we produce. Yes, you can pay less for a dog. What you won't find with a cheap puppy is a lifetime written guarantee, a pedigree of well known and well respected dogs, and the knowledge that the new addition to your family was purposefully bred by someone who was dedicated and seeking to avoid temperament and health issues prior to the conception of your new pet.

We breed Siberian Huskies primarily for ourselves, however obviously we cannot keep every puppy.  Therefore there are always some from each litter which are placed as pets. We breed to produce show quality puppies that we can keep and add to our own program, therefore we do not breed for specific eye color or coat color.  We can, however in certain circumstances predict fairly well what a certain combination of parents will produce.  We strive to place puppies in the best possible homes.  Therefore it is important that we feel completely comfortable with each puppy buyer, and are confident that we are building a relationship based on trust and friendship.  We want to know that should a problem arise we will be contacted right away so that we can be aware of any changes in the dog's life.  We want each puppy to live a long and happy life with it's original buyer, however sometimes life changes take that option away.  We want to know that you feel comfortable contacting us to make arrangements for the dog's future, and that under no circumstances will the puppy be placed in a shelter, rescue or other such facility.  It is our strong belief that should we start to have more dogs returned than we can handle, it would be a statement that we are producing too many puppies!  So of course we try our best to have each puppy go to a permanent and loving home.

Puppies are sold with a lifetime hip, eye and even a life span guarantee.  Basically what that means is that should your puppy develop crippling hip dysplasia or cataracts- we will either replace the puppy or refund your money.   You would NOT even be forced to return the dog, as most contracts from other sources require.  We also guarantee your dog to live to see it's eighth birthday.  Of course that does not cover death from negligence on your part, such as being hit by a car....but it does cover anything of "natural causes" such as cancer, organ failure, epilepsy, or anything of which you had no control  yet deprived you of years with your friend.  The reason why we offer such an unusual guarantee is because our dogs are our friends and companions...and we feel that should you take good care of yours and wind up losing it, we want to thank you and offer condolences the best way possible.

All puppies leave here having been regularly wormed and vaccinated.  They are microchipped, healthy and are socialized.  They also come with a very detailed puppy kit to help you make it through the first few days.  We offer a list of references from other people who have purchased a puppy from us, and they offer much insight into their own experiences with a new puppy.

To purchase a puppy, the first step is to call and inquire.
We need to know about your situation, and what your plan is for this new addition.  There are lots of questions for both sides, so talking on the phone is very helpful.  Should we have availability for your needs, the next step is to place a deposit.  Puppies are typically sold well before they are born, and so don't expect to call and take home a puppy that day.  Once the puppies are born, they are photographed and posted to the website regularly and we have many email updates that are sent out to tell you about them and how they are progressing.  Later, when they are old enough to leave, appointments are made based on order of deposit and people arrive to take the new babies home.

Feel free to contact us anytime, we are always happy to "talk dogs" and are particularly proud of our dogs and breeding program.
