We have had Golden Retrievers since 1979, when we got our first one from an ad in the Newspaper (Which is the way NOT to get a golden). We were hooked and ended up with having 5 Golden Retrievers living with us for more than 10 years, when we started loosing them.  We are now trying to figure out how to give each of our present  4 dogs the attention they need.

Our 2 oldest Goldens are both imported from the same breeder in England.  We really like that type of Golden and therefore has stayed with it over the years.  There are many "types" of Goldens, they are all wonderful and a person has to go with what they prefer.
