Ministries in Ann Arbor, Michigan
Packard Road Baptist Church Crossroads Community Baptist Church, formerly known as Packard Road Baptist Church, is the Southern Baptist church I attended during my time in Ann Arbor. Friendly and boldly proclaims the Gospel -- defintely recommended.
Umich CCC For those who are students at the University of Michigan, I recommend contacting the local chapter of Campus Crusade for Christ. This is a group of students dedicated to:
  • Learning to know and love God more
  • Telling others about the Good News of salvation
Michigan Christian Grads Christian graduate students in the Ann Arbor area might prefer the fellowship of other similarly suffering individuals.
Crossroads Books Need to restock your library? Need some tunes? Check out Crossroads Books. They will also ship orders for those not in south-east Michigan.

Ministries In the Valley Forge Area
WFIL Christian talk radio. WFIL 560 AM. They carry lots of the harder-to-find programs, such as Jay Sekulo and Michael Medved.

Ministries Around the World
CBN CBN Ministries, founded by Pat Robertson, performs a huge range of ministries world-wide:
  • The 700 Club
  • Operation Blessing
  • Middle East Television
  • Christian World News
  • 24-hour prayer lines
and many more.
CBN Operation Blessing is a spin-off of CBN. It warrants its own link because of all the emergency relief work they do (Indonesian tsunami, Hurrican Katrina, etc). They're very efficient, and were among the first on the scene for the recent Gulf Coast problems. The Flying Hospital is one of their more impressive overseas efforts. Consider giving your donations to them if you want to be assured of proper usage.
Last Days Last Days Ministries, founded by Christian singer Keith Green and his wife Melody back in the late 1970's, is still going.
Veggie Tales If ya haven't met Larry the singing cucumber, where have you been? This is a series of computer-generated, Biblically-based childrens videos. Very funny, and very good.
Spurgeon The Spurgeon Archive contains a lots of information about 19th century preacher Charles Spurgeon. Spurgeon gave more than 1900 different sermones during his short life, which have been gathered into 63 volumes. The text for many of these are available online. You might also consider getting some of the 140 books he wrote, many of which are carried at online bookstores such as Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble.
ACLJ The American Center for Law and Justice is a non-profit organization of lawyers who fight religious discrimination and persecution in the U.S and Canada. Sadly, they have far too much work...
Gateway To Joy Gateway to Joy is a daily radio program featuring Elisabeth Elliot Gren. Their ministry is cool enough to post the transcripts of each days teaching (along with RealAudio versions). If you are having trouble trusting God during tough times, this is the site to visit! You can also order Mrs. Gren's books here. Note: The site is still maintained now that Mrs. Gren has retired, but as an archive site.
YWAM Youth With a Mission has, well, a mission. Specifically, they want to reach every nation with the Gospel. Find out more about their ministry, and how you can help, at their website.
FotF Focus on the Family started as a radio program hosted by Dr. James Dobson, but has expanded to include many areas of ministry. You can now order copies of tapes and other resources online. Give them a visit!
CCC Campus Crusade for Christ, International is an organization which focuses its outreach efforts on schools around the world. They also support missions trips, domestic and abroad. A great organization!
