Not exactly "catching" the wave, per se...
I don't have a zoom lens on my camera, so I had to get right down on the rocks
near Thunder Hole to get a good shot of the waves. My first two efforts came
out OK...
The next good wave broke a little bit larger than I was anticipating. As I clicked
the shutter, I realized several things:
- This wave is 5 feet over my head, 3 feet away, and still coming my direction
- Uh oh...
I got clobbered. Soaked from head to toe in 54 degree salt water. Totally
hilarious, of course.
