Andrew and Beth Ann Blackburn's Camping Adventures:
Hunting Island, SC

June 3-5, 2005

There is a charm about Hunting Island State Park that lured Beth Ann and I back for a third time. There were only a couple of sites available, so we were lucky to get a site reserved. We arrived at the SC State Park, Friday, around 5:30pm and checked in. We were assigned to Site #80 which is approximately 150 feet from the beach.

During our stay, Beth Ann and I browsed through the Camp Store, walked or drove around the campground, and explored the beach several times. We enjoyed sitting out, relaxing, and watching the various wildlife.

Sunday arrived too fast. We readied the camper and checked out around 11am and headed back home to Savannah. We made it home safely around 12:30pm.
