August 28-29, 2004

On August 28, 2004, we had to take a trip to PECO Campers to address some minor warranty/repair issues on our camper. While there, we purchased a few goodies for the camper from their nicely stocked camping store. Several warranty issues were resolved while we were there, but some parts had to be ordered for other issues. When PECO had completed all the work that they could, we headed to the Farmer's Market in Forrest Park. We ate a late lunch, looked around then headed to our next camping destination.

We decided to stay at the KOA in Forsyth, GA again. This time we asked for a site further back away from the interstate highway to cut down on the interstate generated noise.

We set up the camper and put out a "low step" that we purchased earlier from PECO, to make it easier to get in our camper. The one step that 19CK has, seems to be a little high for comfortable stepping. We brought along the 5 inch portable TV which worked, but the screen was too small for comfortable viewing. We slept comfortably during the night, but was annoyed by daylight penetrating the tent material early the next morning. We took a walk around the campground, visited the ducks at the pond, ate lunch, secured the camper then began our voyage home.

Several hours later we arrived home safely. Beth Ann and I were able to get the camper backed in to the driveway without assistance from our neighbor. It was not perfectly straight, but was within our property line.
