Beth Ann and I enjoyed our last camping experience at Ft. McAllister State Park, so we reserved a campsite at the park and also had arranged for the Amateur Radio Club of Savannah members, family, and friends to have an activity using one of the pavilions. We arrived at the park around 6pm, registered with the camp host, then set up our camper at Site #6. It was easy to park our camper since our site was a "pull-thru." We did have a slight leveling problem.

Beth Ann and I enjoyed relaxing in the serene environment.
Saturday morning arrived, and Amateur Radio Club of Savannah members, families, and friends began to gather at a pavilion near the entrance of the State Park. Ham radio stations were set up for a special operating event. Around 1pm, a delicious array of food was served. After lunch, ham operators took to the air, while other folks took a tour of the fort.

The "ARCS Special Event" ended around 5pm. I took a picture of the Ft. McAllister entry sign. This picture would later be used as a QSL card.

Sunday, we ate breakfast, relaxed, and after noon, we began packing-up to go home.

We made it home around 3pm, and backed the camper into the driveway.
