I-495Maine Falmouth, MEI-295 Portland, MEI-95 Maine Portland, ME Falmouth, ME 4 I-495 in Maine is the Falmouth Spur across northern Portland, ME, but WILL REMAIN UNSIGNED. It connects to I-95 on the west end in the north end of Portland. It connects to I-295 and US-1 on the east end in Falmouth. There are no other exits on I-495. I-495 in Maine follows the Falmouth Spur of the Maine Turnpike for its entire length. Toll collection is done at one mainline toll barrier. Collection is by cash or electronic recognition via Transpass (currently not EZ-Pass compatible). EZ-Pass compatibility is expected sometime in 2004. At some point, an additional main line barrier will be set up near Saco on the Maine Trunpike mainline at which point all ramp barriers, including the one on I-495, are expected to be shut down.
