Yes, that was my quilt sample shown on Alex Anderson & Ricky Tim’s “the Quilt Show” during Bob Purcell of Superior Threads’ segment on the first episode.  I made this for Superior to showcase their wonderful King Tut threads and I have always loved how the quilting turned out.  Many have expressed disappointment at not being able to see a close-up of the quilting on that show so allow me  :o)    Did I say I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these threads?  Yum.   I call this my Papyrus background fill and the quilt was done in 2005(?)

After much nudging, I have finally signed a book contract.  I am pleased to announce that AQS will be my publisher and I am glad to be working with an organization that truly supports the quilt and quilter.  So for those of you who have been asking, yes I am going to be writing a book.

I will keep you updated as to publishing dates as they firm up.  Thanks for all of your support and I think this will be a really good book for those of you who want to move on and create really beautiful hand applique and incorporate my embellishment techniques I use to bring the applique to life!
