Orders

Order Status
08/23/2009

I wish to thank everyone for being so patient over the past couple of months in filling the orders.  We have now sold and settled on John's house and the estate is pretty much settled, which will ultimately free up a lot of my time to get back to my own affairs and this business.  I am already starting to feel like I'm no longer being pulled in five different directions.

National Conventions

My son, Steve, and I really enjoyed our trip to the National Sweepstakes convention in Manchester, NH this year.  We both won a ton of prizes which I will list here when I catch up with the list.  Tania and Karen Biron and their convention team did an awesome job this year.  They had the best of speakers all weekend and we really enjoyed the baseball game.  Brought back old memories of the days when I played softball during my teen years.

I am already saving for the national in Minnesota and will be eager to move along the the following one in 2011 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Hope to see you all there!!

What a great time son, Stephen, and I had on our trip to San Antonio.  It was the first time that I actually flew to one of the conventions instead of driving.  Well, the electricity of having a bunch of fellow sweepers on the same plane was so awesome.  What a bunch of Chatty Cathy's!!
Even though the oldest of my two sons had been living in San Antonio while in the service, I had visited him, but for time reasons we never got to see the Alamo.  Well we did this time.  Well worth the trip to see it and we took the audio tour of it.  It was certainly hot in there, but I came out learning so much about our heritage down there in Texas and what the Alamo actually stood for.

I met up with a lot of my ANN-tics customers and This N' That subscribers.  So nice to put a face and name together.  Steve and I basically got to eat with a different group of friends all weekend and just can't say enough about the great time we had.  Gwen and Robert Beachaum and their crew did an awesome job on putting on some great game show games and the atmosphere was highly decorated in the western theme.  What a delight instead of looking at those boring podiums and hot lights like at other functions.  The entire front of the banquet room had a fake town facade from which they did one themed activity after another.  Imagine even a western garbed Santa who came around to all of the tables.  I was never a real fan of Mexican food, but came home with a different appreciation for it.  The food was great.  Steve won the table decoration which was a Christmas Santa figurine in you guessed it....western attire.  I won one of the vendor room raffles, which was done by Carol Colvin and it was loaded with some western themed items like a desk clock and pencil holder which are on my desk now.  It had a digital coin jar so I have already started putting in that loose change for next convention.  Tons of wallpaper envelopes and entry papers which are already being put to good use, and ton of other sweeping supplies.
Thanks to everyone who we even spent a second with us over the weekeind to make it such a memorable vacation!!

Blog Radio!!

All Types of ANN-tics on Carolyn Wilman's BlogtalkRadio Show --- August 18, 2008 (archived on her website)
www.contestqueen.com see listing of her archived shows.
About the show:  I was so excited to be excited to be invited by Carolyn, The Contest Queen, to appear on her blogtalkradio show.  In just being interviewed by her I actually was able to take a step back in time to see who I really am and what I am about. We tend to keep our lives in a forward motion only taking seconds to look back, but not to really digest it.  Wow, what an exciting life I have had!!  And an exciting time talking with Carolyn on the radio.  Carolyn and I have always had no problem in talking for hours on end on a vast amount of subjects so this was a perfect start for me in being interviewed.  Hope you enjoy it and looking forward to your comments and questions.

I hope you enjoy it!!  I have the link posted on a separate section of this website.

ANN-tics comments

At first I was totally frustrated at losing the old website, but as things are progressing I think I am up on the times.  Thank goodness I have a decent understanding of the computer, but this self-tought computer geek has had her hands full these past couple of months.  I hope you enjoy the website and thanks for bearing with me as we go forward.  Carol

Please accept our apologies as we are in the process of restructuring a even more organized website.

Feel free to contact me at ann-tics@comcast.net for price lists and information until all is completed here.

See you soon.
