National Conventions (I had seen every single national come to be, but did not have the means to attend, that is, until I won a cash sweepstakes in the fall of 2004 -- yep, the money went right to that Moline convention and I won't miss another one ever again.  I caught the "sweeping fever"!!

*   2008 National Convention, San Antonio, TX - attendee, guest speaker on their panel discussion session;
*   Attendee 2007 National in Dearborn, MI;
*   Vendor - 2006 National Convention, Phoenix, AZ;
*   Vendor - 2005 - 16th National Convention, Moline, IL;

Registered as an Attendee - 2008 19th National Convention, San Antonio, TX

* as of 2007 I attend the nationals, but do not vend.  I like to mingle and meet everyone, plus I like to take advantage of the different tourist attractions during the conventions, which was not always possible when I had the vendor's table.  I remain a donor of several door prizes per convention instead.

Northeast Mini Sweepstakes Conventions (aka Hershey):

October 2006 - Organized and sponsored the very first annual 3 day Northeast Mini Sweepstakes Convention (aka Hershey) held in Grantville, PA

October 2007 - Hershey Mini Convention - stayed on in an advisory capacity and helped coordinator, Patty Nolan, and our wonderful webmaster, Rob Nease, by running Hershey Bonanaza and Mail-in Raffle segments of the program as well as promoting the ANN-tics and This N' That business in the vendor room over the weekend.

October 2008 - back at the helm as coordinator of the 3rd Annual Northeast Mini Sweepstakes Convention scheduled for October 17-19, 2008

Other Regional mini conventions or formal meetings:

*  Manchester, NH - planning get-together meeting 2006 (1 day affair) hosted by Karen & Tania Biron and Penny Bender.

*  Dearborn, MI (2006 & 2008) Hosted by Al Sayward and the Wolverine Winners.  One day affair with approx. 100 in attendance.

*  Grand Rapids, MI (2007) Hosted by Deanna Mayhew.  One day affair held at the Henry Meijer's Conservatory with a huge butterfly exhibit.
