Jimi Hendrix in his famous band jacket - this scan isn't detailed, but the original photo offers a lot more information about the appearance/attachment of all that braid! Early 20th century women's hussar uniform, worn by one of the Grand Duchesses of Russia. Gives me some idea of how to adapt this style for a more feminine shape.
