The Glenfiddich Awards were created and are sponsored by William Grant & Sons, independent family distillers of Glenfiddich single malt Scotch whiskey for five generations. The Awards recognize excellence in writing, publishing and broadcasting on the subjects of food and drink. There are twelve categories in total - two of which are for books: Best Food Book and Best Drink Book. In the following table we show the selections for Best Food Book. Prior to 1980 only one book per year was chosen. Those single annual selections are also shown.
