PARKER ROMANTIC NOVEL OF THE YEAR 1960-2003

In 2002 over twenty publishers submitted about 200 books for consideration for the Romantic Novelists' Association's major award, the Parker Romantic Novel of the Year. These are read by preliminary judges, and the best are judged by a team of final judges drawn from the literary and media world. The book may be a modern or historical novel, and entry is open to members and non-members who are UK citizens. There has been a money prize for the Romantic Novel of the Year since 1986 and in 2002 the award was £10,000. In addition the winning author receives a set of Parker Duofold pens worth over £400.
