Bardic Activites

Bards of An Tir, your adoring audience awaits! There will be a bardic performance area at both the convention center and at the Shilo Inn in the lobby. The venue will be informal, and it will be up to you whether you want to provide background music for the other activities in the area, or if you want to command the audience’s attention. Schedules are challenging at Coronation, so these two areas will be “open mic”. Play when you want, and if there is more than one musician there at a time, sign up on the open mic list so you don’t have to wait around for your turn.

Saturday Lunch

Lady Kierran Moncreiff and Lord Petr Catspawz will be providing lunch on Saturday at the Convention Center. It will be served from 11 a. m. to 2 p.m. for the bargain price of $3 per serving.

Menu:
Cheese & Vegetable (Vegetarian)
Bean and Pasta (Pork Sausage)

Twelfth Night XLI Masked Ball

Come one and all to the 12th night masked ball!

There will be dancing, music, things to nibble and the 7 deadly sins!

Those choosing to enter their masks in the competition will be selected by those most fitting the theme (of the 7 deadly sins), most elaborate, and populous choice.

The doors will open at 7PM Friday January 12, and dancing will begin at 8:00 PM.

Not familiar with the 7 deadly sins? Here’s a brief introduction as well as the related punishment, animal, and color for each.

  • Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.

  • Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.
  • Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.
  • Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.
