These are pictures I took around the town of Christchurch. It is the largest city on the South Island. I also took a train ride up to Kaikoura, which is about 3 hours away. It is NE of the city and sits on the coast. I went on a whale watching excursion and saw 5 male Sperm Whales. I even got the elusive whale tail picture.
