Current Projects:

 

 

¨ Extension of Bussey Point trails on Lake Thurmond–total mileage now 12 miles

¨ New connecting crosstrail at Bussey 8/31/08

¨ Maintenance of existing trails at Bussey Point on Lake Thurmond

 

 

Recent Projects:

¨ Development of horse trails  at Wildwood Park on Lake Thurmond- joint effort with other individuals and organizations

¨ Maintenance/improvements on trails at A.H. Stephens State Park in Crawfordville, GA

¨ Aided in the development of 4 campsites with highlines for horses at Bussey Point on Lake Thurmond –now  completed & opened by the COE for public use as of February 1, 2006

¨ Installation of Bussey Point trail mile markers September 2006
